As the organisation grew, there were three brands under the Alliance Strategies umbrella brand, all offering teacher exchange programs as part of their proposition. This no longer made sense – the brands were competing against each other.
It was time to unite them under one roof with a single, standout identity.
Create a global brand personality and website that felt fun, engaging, and approachable, yet professional and trustworthy, something teachers and partners could instantly connect with.
We dug deep into their vision, mission, and values, drawing out insights on the style and personality they wanted to express. Then our senior designer rolled up his sleeves to bring the new brand to life.
After exploring three distinct concepts, the winning identity – Teacher Lounge – was born (and it happened to be our favourite too!). Playful yet innovative, the brand captures Alliance Strategies’ authentic, non-corporate personality while celebrating community and open conversation.
We developed everything from the brand name and logo to a full identity system, colour palette, typography, photography style, icons, and usage guidelines. A signature speech-mark graphic, paired with expressive character illustrations, became the heartbeat of the design, injecting personality and versatility across every touchpoint.
To take it further, we designed and built the Teacher Lounge website from the ground up. Optimised for UX, SEO, and mobile, the site seamlessly brings the new brand to life in digital form and provides a vibrant home for teachers and partners around the globe.
